Who are we?

We are McGill students and graduates based in Montreal, and we were trainees at the AI4Good Lab. This platform was developed as our final project at the AI4Good Lab, where we focused on leveraging machine learning as a force for social good and developing solutions to real-world problems while adhering to ethical design principles.

We created unbIAsed.Rx, an AI-powered platform for drug information and sex-based adverse reaction alerts to help patients and health practitioners understand the risks associated with certain medications. Recognizing that not all drugs are tested equally, particularly for female patients, our hope was to promote greater awareness of pharmaceutical disparities, equitable research practices, and enhanced drug safety.
